Truck and Bus Drivers Sharing the Road Safely

The Share the Road Safely Program was established to reduce highway fatalities. As professional drivers out on the roadways, we need your help in order to make this campaign a success. There are many ways you can participate in the Share the Road Safely Program. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration wants to make the roadways safe for everyone including, pedestrians, 4-wheelers, bicyclists, and professional drivers such as you. Here are some ways you can participate in sharing the road safely.

As a truck or bus driver, you can experience tremendous stress when you are out on the road. Dealing with poor drivers, heavy traffic and long hours behind the wheel every day can put you into dangerous situations. Find more Safety Tips to make your ride a smooth and safe one.

If you want to find out about more safety tips see our Share the Road Safely brochure for professional drivers - "Professional Drivers: Please Help Us Share the Road Safely". This brochure offers additional safety tips to help prepare you for a safer experience out on the road.

The No-Zone Campaign offers ways for you to participate as well. Truck and bus drivers can do their part to save lives by participating in No-Zone Demonstrations, the No-Zone decal program, and the Share the Road Safely Coalition. To learn more about how you can participate visit the links below.
